Xerox Global Product Marketing Manager in Webster, New York
Responsible for the marketing direction for one or more products or services from product conception, through launch to end of life. Designs, develops and implements marketing strategies, including price, place and/or promotion, of the brand/product. Responsible for launching and positioning of brand/product/services messaging – working closely with sales and technical teams to identify marketing strategies and programs. Be able to clearly articulate office portfolio value proposition and customer benefits and drive results with channel partners, SMB and enterprise accounts.
The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of a set of products, while collaborating closely with Xerox Operating Companies on a global basis, to create and help implement programs and initiatives to meet defined goals. Being the local Subject Matter Expert, they will coordinate the launch of new products, and provide sales support to both channel and direct sales for current products. Marketers will partner with other business functions to set strategic direction and help drive profitable sales and sustainable growth. (Note: Product includes hardware and software products)

Develop, create and manage core positioning and messaging content and sales tools needed to support various sales channels (direct and indirect) that resonates with the target market, relating product capabilities in terms customers understand, care about, and are willing to pay for.
Responsible for all key marketing launch deliverables including product/solution collateral, presentations, spec sheets and key sales tools development.
Be the subject matter expert for product and solutions offering, interface between training, competitive marketing and other value chain partners.
Input to pricing models and pricing strategies.
Gather competitive insights to clearly differentiate and articulate unique Xerox benefits and advantages to ensure sales channels are equipped with clear messages that differentiate your offerings.
Provide marketing assistance to field selling organizations – product presentations, sales call assistance, tradeshow support etc.
Support and provide subject matter expertise to industry analysts, sales channels (direct & indirect) and customers.
Acquire deep customer knowledge through market research, segmentation analysis and customer interviews.
Lead interface with the Xerox Operating Companies and field to identify, gather and create compelling customer case studies or success stories.
Become a Xerox spokesperson evangelizing how our customers have successfully deployed products to solve real business challenges.
Act as key interface with Sales and Partner organizations for product strategies/planning, lifecycle management and post sale growth.
Provide pre-sales support for all sales channels through generation / deployment of tools, resources or face to face visits to ensure sales knowledge can maximize win rate and value.
Work with product marketing partners to develop tactical marketing actions to meet revenue and activity targets.
Develop network of internal and external contacts to ensure understanding of non-Xerox offerings that help deliver against customer requirements.
Works collaboratively with launch teams, product planning, technical engineering teams and sales and partner teams to define product marketing strategy.
Understands product marketing requirements and develops product marketing tools, applications and solutions to meet requirements.
Use all forms of communication to ensure messages reach internal and external recipients.
