General Manager of assigned business segment (product portfolio and/or customer segment). Deliver required quarterly and annual revenue, profit, activity, and market share results for assigned business segment. Collaborates and coordinates with all organizations to drive business success including operating companies, planning/strategy, development, marketing, purchasing, supply chain, service/support, finance/accounting, etc to deliver required business results and activity growth for assigned segment(s). Ensure we have competitive products that deliver value and delight our customers. Uncovers and executes new market opportunities, expansion of existing markets, and new applications for current and future offerings. Ensure maximum capture of the post sale opportunity.
Responsible and accountable for activity and financial results of assigned business segment (up to $300M revenue)
Recognized as a leader of and as an expert within the organization for assigned business segment
Anticipates internal and external challenges/opportunities, develops and executes plans to mitigate/capitalize.
Develops strategy for and oversees execution of growth initiatives for assigned business segment
Responsible for product development investment decisions and oversees product strategy for assigned segment
Global Xerox responsibility
General manager of assigned business segment – responsible and accountable to deliver quarterly and annual business plan
Maximize business results by growing revenue, improving cost (sourcing, reliability, support, etc), growing MIF, and capturing the annuity stream.
Ensure current and future product and app/solution offerings are market competitive and enable our business strategy.
Sponsor product development investment decisions. Oversee program business case assumptions, results, and investment approval. Represent business team in product reviews to ensure development investment is aligned to business goals and market opportunity.
Deliver maximum customer satisfaction through excellent products (quality/reliability/usability), solutions, and support through all channels. Improve NPS.
Performs business results and market opportunity analysis using internal and external data to understand current performance, market opportunity, and competitive situation.
Innovate and execute action plans to improve business results (product, positioning, channel, vertical, and new market opportunities, etc).
Provide leadership to all internal partner organizations for current and future products and ensure executing to enable success for assigned segment
Represent business team in supply/demand planning process including EOL planning and product transition planning. Ensure efficient inventory management and cash utilization while meeting customer requirements and enabling required business results.
Manage vendor relationships in collaboration with global purchasing to enable and optimize business results for assigned segment
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated previous success as a product, portfolio, or business manager in a fast paced, cross functional, cross cultural team environment.
Broad qualitative and quantitative business analysisexpertise including financial modeling and assessment.
Proven negotiation andconsensusbuilding skills, organized, and methodical
Meaningful customer facing experience and channel familiarity.
Technology, mobile apps, device solutions/apps savvy
Demonstrated vendor engagement/management experience
Effective communicator (written and verbal) at executive level
Adept at working in a cross-functional, cross cultural environment
Ableto travel several times a yearincluding internationally
Printer and A4 MFP market experience (products, channels, and customers).
P&L management experience
Experienced with XeroxTFEand other relevant best practices
