Purpose:

  • Responsible for delivering timely, actionable data-driven insights to business leaders using state of the practice approaches in Business Intelligence and Business Analytics.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in carrying out reporting and analysis for various business teams

  • Develop clear visualizations to convey complex ideas

  • Perform deep and continuous exploration of high-volume data

  • Develop, tune, and deliver various models and algorithms

Candidate Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or other quantitative field; or equivalent work experience

Additional Role Requirements:

  • Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analysis skills using state of the practice techniques in Visual Analytics, Data Mining, Statistical Modeling and Predictive Analytics including Machine Learning.

  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills. Comfortable liaising with business leaders, project stakeholders, domain experts as well as data science and IM/IT team members adapting verbal and written communications for business and technical constituencies.

  • Independently drives projects through the entire Data Science and Analytics Lifecycle from Ideation to Delivery. Demonstrates agility and adaptability to meet project deadlines.

  • Strong working experience with R/Shiny, Python, SQL, git and Tableau. Familiarity with Azure ML and Azure ML Workbench would be a plus.

  • Advocate and evangelist of Advanced Analytics. Stays up to date with pertinent techniques and technology stacks. Enjoys teaching and sharing best practices and thrives on trying new approaches to improve personal and team productivity through streamlining and automating the analytics pipeline.
