The Role

We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Sales Manager with experience in the Graphic Communication industry to build a new sales team and capture growth opportunities. You will recruit, coach and develop a team of sales executives driving new business as well as business development with existing customers. A well-founded growth strategy based on your market knowledge and joint efforts with your team, Marketing and Presales as well as a disciplined Sales Operational Excellence are fundamental for your success.


  • Sales leadership through sales opportunity strategy, presentations, negotiations, perseverance, resource and project management, deal coaching and continuous best-practice sharing

  • Develop and sustain a high performance sales team through continuous hiring, development, coaching, performance management and motivation of team members

  • Client satisfaction objectives through engagement and growth of C-level client relationships, account strategic plans, and client communications process discipline of team members

  • Active customer and market engagement, especially relationship management on decision making level and personal involvement in key deals

  • Stay connected with evolution of Graphic Communication industry

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and operational execution of sales strategy

  • Analyze and interpret performance metrics and other data to make timely and informed decisions

  • Drive sales process discipline and make fact based decisions through expectation setting, analysis and utilization of sales and sales performance analytics

  • Work collaboratively across the organization (Service, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to enable customer satisfaction and high performance

  • Generate profitable revenue growth and gain market share

Qualifications, Key Skills and Experience

  • Degree in relevant subject such as economy and/or technology or equivalent sales management experience

  • In-depth knowledge of Graphic Communication market

  • Effective influence and communication with C-Level clients

  • Demonstrated leadership and business acumen

  • Ability to interpret economic and relevant business conditions and redirect sales strategies accordingly

  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage multiple, lengthy and complex projects / sales cycles

  • Successful sustained performance in all sales roles

  • Commitment to continuous learning and development of others

  • Motivation and skills to initiate and implement required change processes

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and manage conflicting priorities as win-win situation

  • Fluent German and English language skills, both verbally and in writing
