Xerox Intrepreneur-in-Residence (IIR) for Intelligent Assistant Platform in Palo Alto, California

Xerox is seeking an Intrepreneur-in-Residence (IIR) with a strong track record of building new businesses to lead an agile team to incubate a new business unit for Xerox in cloud-based business software. The EIR will operate as an “intrepreneur” within Xerox with end-to-end responsibility for creating the new business from offering definition to commercial launch and scale up. This role will operate within an entrepreneurial environment that aims to accelerate product development while taking advantage of access to a wide range of global customers. This position will be based in Palo Alto, CA.


  • Lead a cross-functional product management, engineering, and business development team to develop a Minimum Viable Product, define the business model, and refine the product-market fit iteratively with customers.

  • Develop a coherent business plan with a strong associated business case.

  • Serve as a product evangelist, creating customer and partner excitement around the vision and driving enthusiasm among the internal team.

  • Achieve clear performance milestones within a specific timeframe.


Minimum qualifications:

  • Prior experience launching a successful software application business and scaling to at least $50M in revenue or successful exit.

  • Deep understanding and strong network of relationships in enterprise software and SaaS solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in incubating and scaling new products and/or ventures inside large enterprises.

  • Understanding of artificial intelligence, intelligent agent, and content management technologies.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical and leadership skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships.
