Purpose of Position:

Assist Product Marketing team to formulate and communicating pricing strategy and developing effective market rate guidelines. Will also be giving support and guidance on pricing bid and tender opportunities, working with Partner Managers and directly with partners to formulate competitive offerings to win business.

Scope

Supporting whole MEA from HQ – Uxbridge

Principal Responsibilities

  • Deploy the strategic direction from the Pricing Manager within MEA.

  • Continuously implement and monitor pricing levels to support the short, medium and longer term achievement of business objectives relating to the brand.

  • Close all internal BDM and external Distributor Partner pricing related queries within a satisfactory time frame

  • Investigate for periodic review competitive pricing levels through various internal / external media to ensure that Distributor Operations remain market connected in all regions proactively.

  • Manage generic pricing initiatives

  • Manage the deal price approval process including tactical and other requests

  • Prepare and support all internal / external ICMP price audit policy compliance requirements for Pricing Mgr review.

  • Understanding market and customer.

  • Brand sales analysis and follow up for strategy implementation.

  • Keep up to date with market trends and new developments utilizing information for business improvement

  • Providing market analysis information pertaining to competitors, trends and activities

Skills/Essential Competencies

  • Communication - Ability to effectively communicate using a range of verbal and written communication skills. Especially important is the ability to communicate appropriately within a diverse multi-cultural environment and across the full range of business disciplines.

  • Commercial Understanding - Knowledge of business operations, including the core drivers within the sales and marketing process. Understands the financial impact of decisions including margin, volume and likely impact on market share.

  • Marketing - Understand the range of effective marketing tools available Able to work with a range of external and internal business drivers, including company Directors to achieve business objectives.

Experience

  • Some combination of experience in marketing, extensive knowledge of one or more key business processes, and systems integration

  • Proven track record of achievement

  • Excellent relationship builder

  • Degree level or equivalent
