JOB SUMMARY:

Xerox Business Services’ Systems Group (SG) Documentation Specialist (DS) will ensure that account documentation accurately reflects the Production processing flow. The DS will complete necessary Data Library updates in accordance with established standards, procedures and contractual requirements. The SG Documentation Specialist collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and project team members to create user and technical SDLC documentation, process flow diagrams and instructional material as required.

Job Responsibilities includes, but not limited to:

  • Writes software process documentation following key steps in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), to promote efficient communication of development approach

  • Collaborates with SMEs and project team members to ensure that System and User Documentation accurately reflect the Production processing flow

  • Reviews and edits documentation to ensure adherence to contractual requirements and account standards. Account documentation includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • SDLC Deliverables

  • User Manuals

  • Technical Manuals

  • User Procedure Manuals

  • General System Design Documentation

  • Process Flow Documentation

  • Utilizes current technology and computer software packages to produce manuals, instructional material, hardware/software documentation and graphic presentations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Ability to translate complex technical language into plain English

  • Ability to understand and process complex information concisely and effectively

  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment

  • Functioning knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project,

  • SharePoint experience

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Familiarity of working within a formal project management framework

  • Proven troubleshooting skills

  • CAMMIS experience desired

  • Must be currently eligible to work in the United States for any employer
