Global Document Outsourcing (GDO) provides documentation and learning programmes on a world-wide basis to internal and external customers. The Service Documentation Department within Xerox Global Services is a small team of 10 people based in Welwyn Garden City, providing Service Documentation to the Xerox service community. This documentation includes Service Manuals, Spare Parts List, Installation Instructions, Wiring Diagrams, Kit Instructions, Technical Bulletins, Principles of Operation and Help Files.

What will I be doing?
? To assist in the development and maintenance of service documentation materials for Xerox products, including: Service Manuals, Spare Parts List, Installation Instructions, Wiring Diagrams, Kit Instructions, Technical Bulletins, Principles of Operation and Help Files
? To interface with Customer/ Engineering functions to resolve any technical questions/ problems
? To contribute to various cross-functional teams working to improve/ update standards, processes and customer offerings
What skills do I need?
• Knowledge in electro-mechanical and/or electronic engineering
• Proficient writing skills (spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, work choice and usage; graphics)
• PC literate with a working knowledge of MS Office tools such as Word, Excel and Outlook
• Good analytical skills to enable the interpretation of technical product specifications
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (listening, speaking, questioning)
• Manually dextrous with the ability to disassemble and faultlessly re-assemble electro mechanical components
