The Xerox College Experiential Learning Program (XCEL) is designed to provide college students with practical work experience in their field of study, as well as prepare them for the professional world of work. The candidate will be responsible for working with supply chain engineering and operations teams to manage, maintain and improve supply chain processes, computer applications and infrastructure used to support the configuration and distribution of Xerox products from Xerox distribution centers to customers.

Responsibilities:

Assignment can include:

Developing and testing new processes, software tools and applications.

Interfacing with new product planning reps, product and software development teams.

Developing & improving test methods, account engagement workflows, fail-safe’s and countermeasures to product field customization problems.

Development, deployment and operations support of processes for customization of Xerox products.

Development, validation and implemention of software revisions, visual basic code, database queries and reporting.

Debuging network/configuration settings.

Analyzing supply chain process defects and participating in problem solving forums.

Essential Functions:

  • Managing multiple tasks and projects

  • Effective and efficient communication (written, verbal)

  • Knowledge and experience with computer applications, networking and programming (e.g. Visual Basic, C , SQL database, dot net, Microsoft Office tools)

  • Working individually and within teams with minimal supervision

  • Problem solving

  • Students pursuing BS, MS in Computer engineering or Science

  • Knowledge and experience with computer applications, networking and programming (e.g. Visual Basic, C , SQL database, dot net, Microsoft Office tools)

  • Must have cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher

  • Solid analytical skills and good sequential thinker
