Perform analytical reviews and conduct research on a variety of projects within Global Procurement.
Provide cross-functional and cross-organizational support of business process improvement initiatives.
Support team in process, process documentation, solutions delivery and Solutions communication.
Develop analytical tools and reporting to enhance the current process for the procurement of production product (packaging materials
Work closely with Xerox personnel to improve and develop data analytics to drive stronger negotiating during the RFQ process.
Supports the IT services and product sourcing process; maintain a broad understanding of how the organization sources and manages external partners
Work closely with commodity Value Chain Partners on various projects & objectives utilizing an appropriate supplier base.
Assignment can include:
Product usage or Order pattern analysis
Facilitate sourcing events
Negotiate and author supplier contracts
Establish rate cards
Supplier relationship management
Project management orientation (multiple tasks).
Independent work style (minimal supervision) but able to work well in a team environment.
Analytical & problem solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings / packaging specifications
Strong written and verbal and people skills.
Understands finance fundamentals
Good listening skills, curious, questioning
Good attention to detail, conscientious
Assertive but poised
Students pursuing BS, MS in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Business or Logistics with Supply Chain focus
Must have cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher
Proficient with EXCEL, Access, and Word
Solid analytical skills and good sequential thinker
Basic knowledge of statistics and accounting desirable
