Xerox Business Analyst in Webster, New York

Purpose:

• Working within the Worldwide Customer Experience & Quality organization at Xerox, the Business Analyst is responsible for reporting and analysis leveraging key quality and customer experience related datasets.

Scope:

• Individual contributor role that works collaboratively to deliver business intelligence data supporting effective, fact based decision making.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the organization’s Microsoft Business Intelligence platform and tools to analyze and synthesize operational, industry, and Voice of the Customer (VOC) survey data

  • Present analysis and key insights to management

  • Work with various operations across the organization to gather requirements for reports and dashboards

  • Develop self-service dashboards and reports that allow users to quickly identify product and service quality issues and determine important drivers of satisfaction from customer survey data

  • Provide training for new users on how to access and interact with dashboards and reports

  • Identify new data sources and work to integrate new data with existing data, including assisting with writing documentation and testing requirements

  • Work with the organization’s development team to fix data issues and test changes

  • Migrate existing automated reporting to the SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) tool and create new reports leveraging this tool

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, MBA preferred

  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience, preferably in a business analytics role; however, recent graduates of business programs without professional experience but with demonstrated knowledge of business analytics tools and concepts will also be considered

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to think critically and solve problems

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; advanced Excel skills required

  • Experience with different data visualization, reporting, and advanced analytical tools, such as: Power BI, Tableau, SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS) or R

  • Project management and leadership experience a plus

  • Must be currently eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship

  • Must consent to and successfully clear all required pre-employment screenings (background and substance).
