We are in need of high-powered technical talent to help our largest clients navigate the operational challenges of cloud computing. You will be a principal technical advisor and work one-on-one with our top-tier clients, supporting both the software development lifecycle for cloud services and management of active services.
You must possess client facing skills that enable you to represent Xerox Services well within a client’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding incidents, trade-offs, best practices, and risk management. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges as you help our client take advantage of the efficiencies, cost savings and quick innovation available only in the cloud.
As a Cloud Infrastructure Manager, you will be the primary technical point of contact for one or more clients helping to plan, debug, and oversee ongoing operations of business critical applications. You will be responsible for troubleshooting application, network, database, and architectural challenges using a suite of internal XS tools as well as your existing knowledge and toolkits. You will work hand-in-hand with senior executives on opportunities to improve your clients’ IT landscape. You will work across client organizations to ensure clients’ applications are well designed and scale to their needs. In this role, you will also act as the voice of the client within XS to escalate problems and to drive prioritization of business needs for our clients.

Work hands-on with client engineering teams to develop, migrate, and debug application issues
Troubleshoot technical issues and drive issue escalation
Help Enterprises define IT and business processes that work well with cloud deployments
Leverage knowledge of your clients’ environments to assist support engineers and service teams in better serving your clients
Complete analysis and present periodic reviews of operational performance to client leadership
Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, detailed prelaunch planning
Participate in client requested meetings (onsite or via phone)
Engage with Director and C-Level executives to understand business needs
Know and use all key client resolution tools across all service groups to facilitate rapid resolution of client concerns
Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
Work with some of the leading technologists around the world
5 years of experience supporting enterprise level infrastructure
Breadth of experience in the following areas with depth in one or more subject:
Systems Administration (Linux and/or Windows)
Networking (DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, DHCP)
Software design or development
Content Distribution / CDN
Scripting / Automation
Big Data & Analytics (Hadoop/streaming data/machine learning)
Operations Management & infrastructure design
Service Oriented Architecture
7 years of IT/technical industry experience
Experience in a distributed computing environment highly desired
Previous experience as a technical lead, with exceptional client (internal or external) focus and bias for action
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of ANY programming/scripting language
