Xerox Information Governance & Legal Admissibility Manager in United Kingdom

We have an exciting opportunity for an Information Governance expert to join our Service Delivery team as Information Governance and Legal Admissibility Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for successfully implementing and managing the delivery of Information Governance and Legal Admissibility programmes primarily across the UK Health Sector.

As Information Governance (IG) Manager you will be regarded as a subject matter expert, working closely with key client stakeholders across internal, supplier and client organisations, to facilitate and ensure successful delivery of these critical & strategically important projects.

The Information Governance Manager can be based anywhere in the UK and will need to travel frequently to client sites across the country.

The key deliverables of this role include:

  • Program Ownership of annual IG Submission for Health Sector

  • Program Owner for BS10008 Certification / Compliance across Health Sector (Legal Admissibility)

  • Ensure alignment of Health accounts to governance requirements

  • External client face for NHS Information Governance requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise regarding Information Governance and Legal Admissibility for the UK Health Sector.

  • Review annual NHS IG requirements and translate requirements into metrics that Xerox health contracts can be measured against

  • Devise IG scorecard for all health contracts (all service lines)

  • Ensure all Health contracts comply with IG requirements set out by NHS England to a minimum of Level 3, escalating as appropriate those contracts that do not comply

  • Ensure IG actions plans are owned by relevant service delivery manager

  • Consolidate IG scores and present to Xerox senior management team for sign-off

  • Complete annually the NHS IG toolkit submission, ensuring all evidence is available as appropriate

  • Undertake any relevant IG training as required – Xerox or NHS training

  • Manage Legal Admissibility Programme to ensure all new contracts are working towards BS10008 compliance as a minimum

  • Coordinate programme for BS10008 Certification, to centralize all documentation so that Xerox can become accredited as a company

  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise in all IG governance and BS10008 requirements as required to internal/external stakeholders including sales, delivery and bid teams

  • Support incident management activities within the UK Health Sector contracts

  • Relevant degree/ post graduate qualification

  • Breadth and depth of experience in a services environment and in the following service areas.

  • Information Governance

  • ISO 27001 – Information Security

  • BS1008 – Legal Admissibility

  • NHS / Health sector knowledge

  • Track record of successfully delivering key projects/programs within the NHS

  • Information Security qualification – CISP / CISA etc or IS audit background.

  • Proven ability to innovate and to creatively position the company’s value proposition, providing services that improve client’s business performance

  • Adheres to process/governance, diligent, strong commercial acumen, fully convergent in breadth of Xerox service offering, excellent Client knowledge, IT literate.

  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
