Title: PSG Colour Pre Sales
Location: United Kingdom-Greater London-Uxbridge
Provide technical support to Production sales in the identification, validation, and implementation of solutions and applications to drive business opportunities in territory.
Evaluate scenarios for new solutions and analyze technical requirements of customers.
Validate solutions for customers based upon technical and business requirements and set proper expectations for customers and Xerox sales reps.
Responsibilities:
Provide application and product demo support to the sales team.
Defend the install base by enhancing existing applications and solutions through recommendations for redesign of documents.
Co-manage the solution/application development phase of the sales cycle ensuring optimization of all solutions/applications.
Manage and integrate the application development process with the post sale or other third-party service providers for application development and support.
Support the management and integration of the solution/application in the customer to ensure meeting customer expectations.
Provide ongoing support to customers after implementation to ensure resolution of application problems
Initiative and a drive to succeed, highly results driven with an ability to work with other functional areas and manage teamwork
Extensive knowledge of products and industries including digital printing, imaging, variable information, publishing solutions, client server networks, document applications.
Understand and practice the principles of solutions selling.
Self-motivated / capable of working on own, defining own work processes and able to make decisions. Excellent planning and organizing skills, able to cope with high degrees of uncertainty and open to change.
Fluent English required.
Extensive knowledge of systems environments, including common graphic arts applications, Mac, PDLs (e.g. PostScript, Adobe Acrobat PDF), Variable data, workflow, database management, and data mining. Layout and design, Color imaging processes and technologies, Digital Preflight and knowledge of Creo, EFI, and DocuSP RIPs
Technical expertise in software applications related to document design and management, Workflow including DigiPath, DocuSP, Web Services, Color, PCL, Postscript, VIPP and PDF
Consulting and project management skills, systems analysis, workflow analysis, and overall document management
