Marketing is central to all that Xerox does. This year we have an opportunity for 8 students to join the Marketing team within our HQ as a Marketing Executive. The role may include product launch, marketing programmes, marketing tactical and incentives, as well as supporting both direct and in-direct sales channels. This offers a fantastic opportunity for students interested in gaining invaluable marketing experience.
Who should apply?
The position is fast paced and varied with opportunities to get involved in various aspects of Marketing. As such, the role would suit a student studying a Marketing, PR or Business related degree with a strong interest in a Marketing career.
What will I be doing?
* Responsible for implementing successful marketing strategies to support Wide Format channel partners across Xerox Europe.
* Working with the marketing manager to coordinate updating, as needed, of the partner extranet and develop the use of marketing tools such as the Xerox Marketing Store or the e-Generator.
* Developing and sustaining delivery of programs within the e-Generator project, becoming the centre of competence for this delivery.
* Supporting the development of a European pricing book and its maintenance with the pricing manager in Xerox Europe.
* Responsible for obtaining and analysing competitive information for use in creating pricing guidelines (PCSOs) for new launch and existing products.
* Manage support requests from resellers to provide effective event support such as exhibitions.
* Responsible for providing monthly results summaries and identifying performance gaps.
* Supporting the creation of brochures, collaterals or mailers for the reseller community.
What skills do I need?
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are essential, with a good degree of creative flair and an eye for detail.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle and co-ordinate multiple activities and tasks through good time management and prioritising.
* A results driven and goal orientated approach with the ability to work proactively to deadlines.
* A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
