PURPOSE OF ROLE
A consultant capable of contributing to a team focused on delivering technical solutions to projects. The consultant utilizes technical knowledge, contract specifications, best practices, tools, and processes to deliver a solution or the architecture for a solution.
The impact to the customer is the delivery of solutions or architecture that include but not limited to:
§ XDM setup
§ Custom Reporting
§ Asset Management
§ XSPMS, Mobile Print, Portal Setup and maintenance
§ Startup Activities
§ New Technologies as they become available
The impact to the business is the creation of recommendations that:
§ Support and achieve expected revenue and margin performance on each global XOS utility engagement and consequently the line of business
§ Successful Start-up and implementation of the XOS Tool Suites has a direct impact on Time to Revenue and Time to Profit
§ Drives standardization and consistency across all global MPS utility engagements
§ Fosters incremental revenue opportunities by delighting our client
SCOPE OF ROLE
A business in control and predictable is capable of scaling. Embedded in our existing processes are non value added costs to manage variation and complexity along with significant risks. This team will drive the continuous improvement of the utility model based future state design processes yielding increased revenue and improved margins & profitability.
The consultant plays a critical role in determining what is recommended to each account team and subsequently the customer. Incorrect decisions cause significant losses, increased cost, or substantial negative impact to the profitability of each contract and consequently the line of business.
The TC implements the Xerox XOS Tools behind the client’s firewall, configures with price and service plans, validates XDM device discoveries, XSM uploads. This start-up work lays the foundation for billable events to begin. Time to revenue and time to profit are dramatically impacted when start-up is delayed or lengthened.
For Xerox MPS contracts ranging from $2M - $200M:
· Lead the Implementation of the Xerox tools and Applications
· Work with client IT groups and Telephony during implementation
· Provide IT Technical Support during MPS Implementations
Engagement begins with contract signature and ends once the future state environment is deployed and transferred to the Xerox Geo Region or Select Operations.
Delivery of Solutions spanning the Tools Consultant portfolio.
Delivering actual tool delivery or setup of architecture to support ongoing activities.
Contract specific guidelines and requirements (SLA’s, KPI’s, etc.)
Customer savings targets
Identified business requirements
SBU Director and Focus Executive guidance
Tool specific output
Identify new opportunities to expand Xerox services and equipment across the enterprise. Work with the account management team to develop these opportunities.
Continuously improves knowledge and skill set to ensure customers receive the highest possible value and return on their investment.

University degree or equivalent – Business, IT, Finance preferred
Minimum of 5 years of process consulting and business experience in Office environment
Software experience: MS Office, Excel, Asset DB, MS Project, MS Visio, Adobe Acrobat, database technologies, Print Servers, Networking
Xerox Office Suite knowledge
