San Antonio – QA Associate
High school diploma or GED required; 2 year college degree preferred 2-4 years administrative experience, supporting multiple people Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Must be able to handle multiple assignments at once, with high level of accuracy Must pass criminal background check, drug screen and be a US Citizen
Plan, coordinate, and execute the Document Control / Management processes for assigned projects
Provide support in the control of project documents and records per GE’s internal Control of Project Documents and Naming and Storing procedures
Support folder administration and maintenance of managed documents for multiple projects
Use reasonable efforts to ensure alignment with GE in-house processes and procedures including those in-house processes and procedures supporting GE customer’s specific requirements
Support and manage documentation received between multiple engineering groups, project managers, engineers, supply chain, vendors, GE, manufacturing department, sourcing, quality assurance department, finance, sales, services and all common interfaces of a project
Perform electronic and hard copy receipt, recording, tracking, reporting, and disposition of project documents in a timely manner to ensure all project documents are up to date (transmittals scanned, copied, printed and stored
Ensure all relevant project documents are stored in a controlled manner and maintain a controlled log and/or document index
Maintain multiple e-mail accounts
Compile, check, collate, format, issue and support creation of project documents (drawings, specifications, databooks, datasheets, document packages, logs, catalogs, supplier documents, manuals, any project-required documentation)
Printing/scanning/faxing/packaging of project documents and accessories
Ensure latest document revisions are delivered to manufacturing supervisors and obsolete drawings are retrieved
List routine supplemental notations on ISO drawings as instructed until adopted into final drawings
All other duties as assigned
