Purpose:

Scope:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensures that all members of the team undestand the project objectives by having a robust project start-up in line with accepted industry practice (e.g., PMI or Prince 2).

• Ongoing planning and coordination of the required resources needed to complete the project on time and to budget.
• Develops and maintains relationship with relevant stakeholders in Xerox, in client or in partner organizations.

• Manages project risks with the team and client.
• Produces Management Information to show and communicate progress in project tasks/milestones as well as finances.
• Develops and owns project communication plan to ensure consistent understanding of project progress within key stakeholders. This includes ensuring that the relevant stakeholders are informed of any significant risks or changes and in return obtaining the required decisions and direction.
• Ensures that project timescales and costs are understood and accepted by all relevant stakeholders.
• Manages project budget and identifies opportunities for reducing costs and required effort.
• Ongoing and periodic monitoring of progress to ensure project objectives are delivered on time and within budget, and required results are realized.
• Ensures regular project reviews take place and that effective and rigorous change control mechanisms are used and scope changes are escalated and resolved appropriately.
• Ensures adherence to company guidelines and goverance processes (e.g, BMPP and TMP) and sensible application of appropriate project management best practice.

SCOPE OF ROLE

Transition Manager will lead the crafting and execution of transition plans for all services proposals typically up to $20 million in expected total contract value including single country and multi-country deals. The role holder is accountable for ensuring that client’s defined requirements are met by the transition project deliverables and will lead a team of resources assigned to the transition project as well as managing the relationship with the customer, partner(s), subcontractor(s) and other GDO stakeholders.

Depending on project scale and complexity, Transition Manager may lead several transition projects simultaneously.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
* The key focus of the role holder is to lead transition project team (maybe cross-functional, cross-country, cross-organization, cross-service, involving 3rdparties), to co-ordinate and facilitate the transfer of service ownership from the client or existing service provider to the operational Service Delivery team(s) in country or Shared Services centres
* Act as counterpart to customer appointed transition manager – maintaining close contact to ensure delivery to schedule and issues addressed
* To support, clarify and define transition projects ensuring they are delivered to the required quality, timescale and budget
* Develop and own transition communication plan to ensure consistent understanding of transition progress within key stakeholders
* Manage risk during service transition
* Responsible for successfully implementing new services to GDO country operations, from first identifying the resource requirements, timescales and deliverables, through to planning, deployment and signoff after a period of transition
* Achievement of the above by working closely with the bid/project, 3rd party (where relevant) and service delivery teams throughout the new business lifecycle and owning the service related issues associated with the introduction of the service until the formal point of handover to the Service Delivery team(s)
* Provide support for new business opportunities - at customer meetings, presentations, reviews, crafting transition and communication plans and so on demonstrating expertise and trustworthiness and helping bid teams achieve competitiveness and responsiveness
* Engage appropriate individuals to form project delivery teams for new service contracts. Work in partnership with Service Delivery management to achieve successful contract roll-outs
* Contribute to the development and sharing of methodologies/ best practices with Sales teams, Bid teams, Service development teams as well as Service Delivery Managers, setting foundations for a standardized approach for service contract projects
* Provide a focus for  SLA definition and customer satisfaction . Ensures the information systems and the review structures for SLAs and client satisfaction are established

Software QA Tester

- Interface with the development team to identify defects and develop strategies to most efficiently test new features

Xerox Litigation Services (XLS) provides in-house counsel and their outside law firms an enterprise-wide discovery management process with services that mitigate risk, control costs, and allow you access to critical information, anytime, anywhere.

XLS is built on a unique combination of the most scalable, high performance discovery management technology and largest group of experienced discovery consultants and professionals in the industry.

Position Overview :

The position is a management role for a team of Client Service professionals. The purpose of this position is three-fold: (1) oversight and leadership for Client Managers; (2) high-level management of cases from inception to completion; and (2) technology consultation and client service to all assigned customers.

General Role:

The individual in this position:

· Is accountable for the progress, performance and quality for all work by Client Service staff;
· Provides a customer relations role to provide a high degree of client service and support across a wide spectrum of clients;
· Provides workflow management for Client Service projects by prioritizing work and coordinating workflow;
· Communicates regularly with clients to assess needs, develop project strategy and report milestones.
· Serves as a point of contact for internal XLS relations and performance;
· Follows and enforces department wide protocols and standards;
· Reports to the Vice President of Client Services and provides leadership to a regional Client Service team.

The individual in this position must demonstrate people management skills as well as project management skills. The job requires experience in all aspects of complex litigation and data management and an understanding of the litigation and discovery process. The Manager must be able to work independently and effectively with attorneys, clients, vendors, management and peers. The skill set must include application of technology know-how, problem solving, status reporting, budget creation, strategic plan input and personnel management.

Leadership/Supervisory (70%)

The primary portion of this position is supervising 10-12 subordinate employees. He/she carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws. The responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems. The Manager position will:

· Lead by example; establish clear expectations; set direction and priorities; ensure that work levels are balanced among all staff; resolve internal staff issues in a timely manner; keep staff informed of all appropriate information; build on effective team; delegate at appropriate level;
· Facilitate the development of staff by providing opportunities and support; provide timely feedback on work product; regularly coach, evaluate, and recognize staff performance and accomplishments;
· Adhere to Company standards and protocols; seek opportunities to improve department efficiency and reduce expenses by streamlining or consolidating functional areas.
Client Management (30%)

The Manager position also provides expertise of project management as follows:

· Oversee all project activities and workflow; prioritize work of Client Service team.
· Interact with to become familiar with all activities of the team, determine case team special needs, desired outcome, required functionality and special needs.
· Ensure comprehensive project plans, regulates status reports and post mortem reports;
· Direct progress of projects, establishes project milestones, and monitor project status regularly;
· Conduct educational sessions regarding industry updates;
· Determine needs of the Clients by meeting with attorneys to determine review and production needs and make recommendations for the appropriate workflow and project schedule needed to most effectively and efficiently meet the team’s goals;
· Follow Standard Operating Procedures and abide by protocols.

· Minimum of five (5) or more years' experience in management position(s) with law firms, corporate legal departments and/or electronic discovery service providers.
· Deep understanding of eDiscovery and the litigation support industry.
· Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree a strong plus. Project Management Professional (PMP) designation a plus.
· Proven leadership skills in building and managing a team of dedicated service professionals.
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Strong organizational and project management skills, the ability to effectively juggle competing demands, prioritize appropriately, and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Strong technical understanding and/or experience with e-discovery process, lifecycle and technical issues a must.
· Advanced knowledge and experience with all MS Office applications, especially MS Excel. Extensive working experience with industry leading litigation support software or comparable applications.
· Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse audiences of varying degrees of expertise.
· High degree of confidence and energy level coupled with strong leadership initiative.
· Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills.
· Strong understanding IT systems and technology.

Quality Assurance &amp; Release Support

As a member of the Development team, this individual will be responsible for quality releases to production and handling support problems after release. Responsibilities include testing software (system level testing, functional and regression testing) before it is released, executing the release of software to the production environment, and responding to support issues after release.

Responsibilities


* Test planning, execution, and verification using manual and automated processes
* Create and maintain complex test environments
* File defect reports using a tracking system and follow up on the problems through complete resolution
* Work closely with the development team to identify bugs
* Design, implement and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans
* Track test results for each release in the TestTrack software tool
* Maintain a thorough understanding of the current system, so as to figure out ways to best test for defects. 
* Perform Configuration Management duties
* Responsibility for merging code in source control environment (e.g. Perforce) to create new releases
* Handle the release process to Production
* Work towards release automation as much as possible
* Compile and maintain a list of changes that went into each release
* Communicate the Release content and timing to stakeholders
* Respond to Support issues



Requirements


* Minimum BA/BS Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
* 3 Years experience in a Software Quality Assurance role
* Experience conducting manual testing of database and server applications
* Experience conducting manual testing of a Web Application
* Ability to read and understand PERL, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, PHP, Linux Shell scripts, C/C , C#, a plus
* Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments
* Extreme attention to detail
* Strong problem solving skills
* The ability to work cross-functionally and interface with other departments to accomplish a task
* Strong work ethic, ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evening and weekend hours
* Ability to work with deadlines in a fast paced environment
* Excellent communication and social skills
