May perform one or more of the following duties: Conducts outbound calls in a sales capacity providing informed and accurate product/service information using standard scripts and procedures to facilitate sales activity.
Queries callers to gather information by inquiring about potential product/service needs.
Communicates appropriate options focused on identified caller needs.
Uses a computerized system to gather information, building caller profiles and log outbound call activity.
All other duties as assigned.
Specialist (Applies to job code 460040) Ensures adequate sales call activity and may adjust methods/approaches to better facilitate sales efforts.
Provides assistance, training, and troubleshooting support to lower-level staff members in accordance with established practices and procedures.
Assists in planning and implementing department goals and makes recommendations to management to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintains a focus on team building and motivating staff members towards effective sale techniques and maintaining the requisite product /service knowledge.
