Job Description

We are seeking for a highly skilled developer with a strong background in building scalable, predictable, high-quality and high-performance Solutions using Microsoft technologies

Responsibilities include but are not limited to creating, maintaining and managing Reports utilizing various sources. Candidate will utilize SQL Server/Reporting Services to provide usable reports. Design & develop SQL queries, Store Procedures to create metrics. Enhance current reports to match the growing needs of company products. Analyze any variation in metrics to ensure accurate. This person will work with a team of experienced analysts, developers and business resources to build highly-performing enterprise systems but will also include dimensional data modeling and Business Intelligence (BI) design / development.

Daily duties include:

  • Examines and evaluates purpose and content of business reports to develop new, or improve existing, format, use, and control.

  • Extract existing data to manipulate/calculate/format into presentable reports, charts, and graphs.

  • Analyze data and reporting solutions to understand business impact, correlations/discrepancies, and to propose changes/alternate solutions.

  • Develop programs or queries to retrieve and analyze data for projects, or reports requiring sophisticated techniques

  • Design, build, and implement new report formats and layouts on a customized basis for clients

  • Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn.

· Development of complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures and functions

Required Skills:

The Ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Five( ) years working with SQL Server (2012/2008 preferred)

  • Strong Knowledge in T-SQL

  • Strong Knowledge in the development of Tables, Stored Procedures, Views and functions.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (preferred)

  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports, Jasper Reports, Cognos Reports or any other Reporting tool (optional)

  • Experience writing data-driven reports, working with data to create reports.

  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to define and research problems and develop solutions

  • Understands and comprehends new system changes as they affect data, reports, and reporting systems

  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.

  • Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.

  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.

Candidate Education:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree

Candidate Background:

Minimum Shows a systematic, analytical approach to problem solving.

Minimum Has good interpersonal skills and is confident in dealing with clients/users and suppliers. Excellent listening skills.

Minimum Above average verbal, written and presentation skills.

Minimum Above average proficiency using standard Office productivity applications pc-based analytical tools.

Minimum Has a broad and moderately deep knowledge coupled with working knowledge of the activities of those businesses and other organizations that use software systems.

Minimum Takes initiative to keep own and skills up to date and to maintain awareness of and, in own area(s) of expertise.

Minimum Technical knowledge and understanding of major technology areas, platforms, development processes and system lifecycles

Minimum Understands, explains and presents complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
