Xerox GC Pre & Post Sales Analyst in Miami, Florida
The GC Pre & Post Sales Analyst is part of the sales process, participating in the preparation and identification of the key applications and needs to be fulfilled based on the customer needs. The role will also support the XDG partners in each country, providing post-sales support to achieve customer needs and satisfaction. Xerox solutions are comprised of Xerox equipment, software, 3rd party application software, as well as customized software and/or hardware offerings. The Pre & Post Sales Analyst role is to provide support in events, training, product & solutions launch and marketing strategies in the Graphic Communications market to accomplish sales targets. Support assigned sales specialist/accounts.
The main role of the Pre & Post Sales Analyst is to support the XDG Graphic Communications Team during the selling cycle as well as support the distributor at the customer installation and all related post-sales support.
Responsible to manage high-end equipment and software configuration in order to deliver the needed elements to assemble a solution to achieve XDGs goals.
Management of the GC solutions portfolio. Responsible for launch, positioning, pricing, marketing strategy, etc.
Responsible to manage the relationship with third party solutions provider.
Create an analyst community to interchange information, training and support.
Participate, coordinate and support shows, expositions, RBLs and other types of customer demonstrations for Xerox to launch and maintain awareness for distributors as well as customers on Xerox products and value added solutions.
Assist and support final customer installations, end user training, demos, etc.
Provide analysts with, resources, webinars, workshops, tools and face to face training as needed, to reach the level needed to enable the Distributor to be self-sufficient and create Solutions/applications for specific vertical markets and industries.
Help the GC team to maintain their knowledge level in GC Solutions and applications.
Advise/counsel internal Xerox personnel as to the specific computer and network related infrastructure requirements to ensure optimum security and network performance.
Keep in control the sales process with Third Party providers, Sales, Technical Support and Distributor Project Managers.
Maintain communication with the distributor’s analyst community, Sales Specialists, Sales Managers, to support the presales process, in order ensure the right applications are delivered successfully to the end customer.
Provide the right support, tools, resources, webinars, events and materials to make the Distributor Analysts, acquire, maintain and update their knowledge in Graphic Communications applications to develop and strengthen their local resources to support their Sales Teams, focusing in the right approach to the final customer.
Advise/counsel distributors as to the specific computer and network related infrastructure requirements to ensure optimum security and network performance.
Manage communications with the analyst community to become self-sufficient and provide the Xerox standard support to their customers.
Support managing the relationships with Xerox Partners, in order to maintain clear communications, and accelerate solutions delivery.
Participate actively in the selling cycle as well as installation and post-installation of the mid-range, high-end production, and inkjet products/solutions.
Prepare appropriate technical content for sales presentations and proposals for distributors to present to C-level and IT managers that aid in influencing customers’ buying decisions.
Maintain a high level of expertise on Xerox and Industry standard solutions, 3rd party application software offerings, client operating system/application software and network environments to maintain credibility with distributers and clients and ability to support their requirements in a changing technology environment.

Extensive knowledge of products and industries including digital printing, imaging, variable information, publishing solutions, client server networks, document applications.

Fluent English required.
Extensive knowledge of systems environments, including common graphic arts applications: Quark XPress, PageMaker, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Freehand, scanning, digital photography
o Macintosh operating system and printing technology
o Page Description Languages (e.g. PostScript, Adobe Acrobat PDF)
o Variable data: applications, workflow, database management, and data mining
o Layout and design
o Color imaging processes and technologies, Color Management Systems, Color Separation and Color Workflow as well as Digital Preflight
o Knowledge of Creo, EFI, and DocuSP RIPs
Technical expertise in software applications related to document design and management, Workflow including DigiPath, DocuSP, Web Services, Color, PCL, Postscript, VIPP and PDF
Consulting and project management skills, systems analysis, workflow analysis, and overall document management
