We have an opening for a Project Analyst to support our workers’ compensation clients.

Location: onsite Lexington, KY.

Position Overview:

  • Responsible for management of internal and external projects

  • Perform routine assignments

  • Solve straight forward problems of limited scope

  • Use judgment within standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data to determine potential solutions

  • Work under close supervision, receiving detailed guidance and direction on routine work and new projects or assignment

  • Coordinate service with all teams, serving as an advocate to our client and ensure quality standards

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge and coordinate delivery for multiple projects

  • Focal point of all communications with client and drive internal communication to all stakeholders regarding projects

  • Coordinate preparation of internal and external reports through gathering, analyzing and summarizing data and information from the departments

  • Evaluate and monitor the performance and efficiency of project to ensure that project implementation is on target

  • Work on overall project planning through reporting on project schedules and deliverables

  • Plan, manage and monitor projects from conception through implementation

  • Respond timely to daily support calls and tickets providing outstanding customer support

  • Other duties as assigned

Collateral Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the implementation of new projects

  • Provide training & support to Project Manager

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business (or a related field) or equivalent experience

  • Two years’ experience in a similar position

  • Two years’ experience in the Workers’ compensation bill review industry.

  • Experience in other medical bill review, or managed care industry a plus.

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Professional oral/written communication skills

  • Proficient in project management

  • Capacity for positive interpersonal relationships

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Considered an expert in all phases of the project management life cycle with a focus on project planning including Work Breakdown Structure and project schedule development, project change control, issue & risk management practices, and project documentation control

  • Working knowledge of Application Development methodologies

  • At least 3 years’ experience in delivering projects in an information technology setting

  • Skills to communicate both orally and in writing ideas, concepts, recommendations, technical and complex information clearly and concisely in a timely manner, at a level consistent with the audience

  • Skills to systematically analyze situations and issues, identify options, draw logical conclusions and sound inferences, determine and recommend practical courses of action using innovation, creativity, good judgement and strategic thinking

  • Strong organization skills including demonstrated tenacity for following up with team members and leadership on outstanding items

  • Ability to work independently and maintain cooperative working relationships with peer groups
