Conductcomputer and mobile device forensic examinations, including preservation,acquisition, and analysis of digital evidence
HandleeDiscovery collections (During heavy times of the year)
Investigatenetwork and computer intrusions to identify root cause and generateindicators of compromise
Generatehigh quality forensic reports and synopses presenting complex technicalprocesses and findings clearly and concisely to non-technical staffmember.
Collaboratewith leadership and stakeholders, including Legal, HR, Corporate Securityand incident response organizations, as well as other forensicanalysts
Qualifications – Required:
1-2years of experience performing forensic acquisition and examination ofWindows, Unix/Linux, and Macintosh-based computers and servers
Broadunderstanding of multiple forensic platforms and tools – EnCase, FTK,X-Ways Forensics, Volatility, Sleuthkit, BlackBag tools, and variousOpen Source forensic tools.
Hands-onexperience performing the following types of analyses:
Networkand security log analysis and correlation, including Microsoft Windows andExchange servers
Workingknowledge of computer/server hardware and storage configurations(i.e., file and database servers, SANs, RAID and VMs)
BasicKnowledge of SQL or Shell Scripting is a plus
Strongoral and written communication skill
Abilityto travel as required, up to 10%
Allcandidates must be authorized to work in the USA
Qualifications - Desired:
Experiencetestifying in court and providing expert testimony in court proceedings
Evidencehandling and chain-of-custody procedures
Malwareanalysis, sandboxing, and software reverse engineering (A Plus)
Forensiclab management experience, including infrastructure (hardware andsoftware), processes, procedures, and supporting documentation based onindustry best practices
