We have an opening for a C# / .Net Developer that can take a lead role in guiding, designing and developing our next generation of business software services using web technologies (HTML5, Angular, ASP.NET MVC), WCF services, data repositories and Entity-Framework.
Location : onsite in our Lakeland, FL office.
Provide technical team leadership for our development team in design and development of our next generation of software services
Participate in establishing appropriate application and systems architecture
Participate in the maintenance and enhancement of existing desktop and EDI applications
Participate in a second-level support team when applications are deemed to be a support issue, including cross training other team members in fundamental support to better understand and effectively assume responsibility when development team members are not available
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems OR Associate Degree/some college and equivalent work experience
Five (5) years Microsoft’s .NET desktop application development (C#)
Five (5) years ASP.NET development (C#)
Five (5) years web service and/or WCF service development
Five (5) years Oracle database programming experience
Knowledge of database design fundamentals and use of data modeling tools
Good organizational abilities, oral communications, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures and a commitment to excellence in customer service environment
Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions
Good technical writing skills and willingness to adequately document all work performed
Knowledge and skills in systems analysis, systems design, design patterns and application architecture
Five (5) years SQL Server database programming experience
Healthcare and/or Workmen's Compensation experience
Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise
Team Foundation Server
Visual Studio 2012 or 2013
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment
Work in cross-functional teams as assigned
Provide accurate time estimates of work
Complete development tasks with less than 15% rework necessary
Provide up-to-date procedural documentation for the support of applications
Demonstrate involvement in required aspects of design, development, and operational teams
Ensure applications are operationally maintained (versioned, patched, cleansed) as agreed to by IT management
Demonstrate understanding of IT development procedures within (90) days of hire
Demonstrate understanding of IT operational procedures within (90) days of hire
