This role is based in the Global Rewards Competency center, which forms part of the Global Corporate Human Resources department

Key Competencies:

  • Conduct programs of compensation and benefits and job analysis

  • Market intelligence (salary survey submissions; results management; analysis; and full utilization of Market Pay)

  • Job “infrastructure (job families, descriptions, and levels) and anchor role management and administration

  • Job evaluations and market pricing

  • Short Term and Long Term incentive support

  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the pros and cons of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to issues identified

  • Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate optionsand proposes improvements to processes

Main Responsibilities :

  • Conduct market benchmarking surveys in organizations

  • Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting market data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data

  • Analyze jobs using observation, survey, or interview techniques or discussions with vendor or relevant stake holders

  • Seek and provide meaningful information to determine Company’s position in the marketplace

  • Check source data to verify completeness and accuracy

  • Compile reports, charts, or graphs that describe and interpret findings of analyses

  • Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceedings

  • Identify the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into meaningful parts

  • Evaluate job positions, determining classification

  • Provide administration support and advice on short-term and long-term incentive planning

Educational Requirements

Master’s Degree ( from premier B School) would be preferred

Professional Certifications:

  • Preferred:Compensation professional certification

  • Preferred: Project management professional certification

Minimum / Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Minimum:

  • 2-4 years of compensation experience with MNCs

  • Direct experience managing multiple relevant market surveys; ad hoc benchmarking; data analysis and interpretation

  • StrongEnglish verbal and written communication skills; ability to summarize and present results in an appropriate format for audience

  • Abilityto manage, motivate and inspire people to embrace change

  • Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate and manage objections effectively

  • Strong analytical skills; ability to resolve complex problems and make sound decisions in a timely manner

  • Advanced Excel skills

Preferred:

  • Experience working in global competency center

  • Experiencewith Long Term Incentive planning and administration
