Position: Manager, Network Relations

Location: Prefer onsite Irvine, CA; may consider remote.

Position Overview:

  • Planning, directing, recommending, developing, operation and maintenance of the Company’s network relationships.

  • Providing day-to-day support and management of network relationships to help business units achieve goals.

  • Acts as a liaison between Network partners, internal departments, and our customers. Designs and implements short- and long-term strategic plans to make certain network relations meet existing and future requirements.

  • Monitors policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, turnaround times, and other contractual obligations are achieved.

  • Develops and deploys methodologies for analyzing Network performance and provides statistics/reports and supporting data.

  • Recommends and/or works with the appropriate internal departments to implement new network solutions that support corporate objectives.

  • Collaborates with Technical Services Representatives, Operations, and Client Account Managers to troubleshoot and resolve critical network issues.

  • Participates in network stewardship meetings and/or attends conferences as requested by management.

  • Assists and cooperates with co-workers, supervisor and management; maintains positive morale within the unit.

  • Assures the highest level of customer service as well as ongoing and effective communication with the end user community regarding projects and network issue affecting users.

  • Manages confidential client, financial and network information with discretion and good judgment in accordance with department and Company guidelines.

  • Demonstrates a dependable work ethic.

  • Sets and example of excellence/integrity and inspires others to perform all duties in accordance with established Company values.

Preferred Qualifications:

These specifications are general guidelines based upon the minimum ordinarily considered essential to satisfactory performance in this position. Individual skills and abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience

  • Eight or more years related work experience.

  • At least three years network relationship experience.

  • Good understanding and technical knowledge of current network and PC operating systems, hardware, protocols and standards.

  • Knowledge of network trends.

  • Knowledge of Company policies, procedures and generally accepted business practices.

  • Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws (e.g. HIPAA, California Privacy laws).

  • Strong vendor management capabilities.

  • Strong project management and time management skills.

  • Very effective oral, written and presentation skills and the ability to develop long-term business relationships.

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple activities with changing priorities simultaneously.

  • Competency to utilize Company software and proficiency in Microsoft software applications and a willingness to learn new systems as necessary.

  • Valid drivers’ license for State of residence and legally required automobile insurance

  • Ability to travel and work as needed to meet Company objectives.
