Role, Purpose, and Scope

Support the operation by assisting management in training, motivating and development of the Billing Representatives through sharing of expertise in the area of revenue generation, responding to questions, improvement of the billers resolution of errors, reducing resolution cycle time, individual desk processes and practices, minimizing performance gaps and driving audit compliance.

Continues functional peer and management relationships. Maintains a working knowledge of the assigned area’s systems, organization and business process.

Major Responsibilities

  • Transferringof technical expertise, conduct desk sides, assess and provides feedback toFLM; through the implementation of available tools: desk sides, ELMO (Engage,Listen, Manager, and Observe) initiative. Determine the need for additionaltraining/support is needed.

  • Performresearch, reporting, analysis and assessment of billing issues/situations andbusiness needs.

  • Respond toRDS Emails and provide Q&A to billers.

  • Provideoperations support, as needed. (Processing of adjustments, file maintenance,billing process development and implementation, participate as a SubjectMatter Expert (SME) in AOP Projects and initiatives.

  • Interfacewith various levels of management to facilitate communications and assist inresolution of local issues

Background, skills, experience and qualifications

  • Experienceas a proven high performing Base Biller

  • Associatesor Bachelor’s degree or equivalentwork experience - preferred

  • Fluent inEnglish, both written & verbal

  • Exposure/experience with various Xerox systems (eMeters, Bravo, EBS,BWM, CAPS, XEEP, etc.)

  • Strong written and verbal communicator, including presentations

  • Change agent with strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Strong follow-up and attention to detail in a fast-paced operationsenvironment

  • Self-motivated with demonstrated initiative and ability to multi-taskin a changing and deadline driven environment

Candidate Education:

Minimum High School Diploma / (GED) / Secondary School GCSE or equivalent

Preferred Associate Degree / College Diploma /Cegep / A Levels Degree requirements vary by region

Minimum Able to plans and organize work so the Service Level Agreement objectives are realized

Minimum Maintains positive work relationships with members of other teams to ensure compliance with cross-team responsibilities

Minimum Assists in establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external customers to identify additional ways to be of service and ensure customer satisfaction

Minimum Knowledge of complex accounting and finance practices
