Job Description:

The Client Services Analyst (Healthcare Business Analyst) will be a principal liaison between KHIE, data providers, and the Xerox Team during onboarding initiation and implementation. This resource will provide post-implementation support for data providers requiring additional assistance due to connectivity loss, performance degradation, or application availability relating to edge services. Also, will be located primarily (80% minimum) at the Cabinet of Health and Family Services (CHFS) office in Frankfort, Kentucky or at KHIE data provider sites upon request.

Knowledge and Capabilities:

  • Experience onboarding data providers to a Health Information Exchange (HIE)

  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior level staff from a variety of stakeholders

  • Knowledge of management functions to plan, organize, direct, implement and evaluate processes to lead people and manage resources to achieve desired results

  • Ability to develop and maintain communications to generate feedback, monitor and evaluate information, make necessary adjustments to procedures, and program implementation

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a resource in the connection of data providers to the KHIE. Activities will include liaison with multiple providers, scheduling meetings, motivating providers, aggressively seeking to meet provider’s needs, marshaling Commonwealth and Xerox resources to resolve provider concerns, establishing plans of action for each provider engagement.

  • Assist in the analysis of data provider HL7 transactions to determine if any data translation is needed for consumption by the HIE.

  • Provides timely information and accurate status via consistent status reports, effective and timely customer, technical support, and implementation communications, accurate project schedules/milestone reporting, and consistent and effective communications with manager and/or project/team lead. Communicates in a professional and courteous manner at all times and consistently documents all customer interactions.

  • Supports knowledge transfer of product technology to customer

  • On-boarding: lead providers through successful connections to the KHIE.

  • Internal Process Driver: ensure that On-boarding needs are met within Xerox, the Commonwealth, and partner organizations.

  • Assist in new release specification, assisting client in problem identification and resolution.

  • Setup users access to environment. Lotus Notes knowledge a plus.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS SharePoint – strong skills

  • Written and verbal communications – strong skills

  • HL7 knowledge

  • Lotus Notes a plus

  • Problem solving, time management and ability to work across functional teams

  • Healthcare experience is preferred
