We are currently interviewing and hiring accomplished Epic Inpatient Analysts to grow our team. Up to 80% travel may be required. Consultants may live anywhere in the U.S. (remote) and travel to the project (client site).

General 1. 1- 3 years’ experience working with Epic Inpatient Modules.

  1. Current Epic Procedure Orders, ClinDoc, or Orders Transmittal Certification withat least 6 months ofhands on build experience.

  2. Experience with the entire Inpatient setting including documentation.

  3. Actively participated in all phases of the Inpatient Implementation (Design, Build, Validate, Implement, and Optimization).

  4. The ability to work collaboratively with teams of all sizes.

  5. The ability to multitask complex work assignments.

  6. Exceptional communication skills, professional image, confidence in dealing with complex business situations.

    Required Job Duties

  7. The ability to analyze complex system configuration.

  8. Identify business processes to improve inpatient workflow; make recommendations to project leadership to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  9. The ability to document current state workflow; configure system based on organizational requirements, document build processes and participate in product testing.

  10. The ability to create testing scenarios based on current state workflow processes; troubleshoot issues and report findings to leadership as appropriate.

  11. The ability to analyze, build and design tools (navigators, smart tools, smart forms, notewriter) to improve end user satisfaction.

    Education and Work Experience

  12. Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent professional experience

  13. 1 - 3 years relevant healthcare information systems experience required

  14. Technical and functional knowledge of assigned information systems required

  15. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and experience managing multiple projects

  16. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities

  17. Excellent interpersonal skills including superior oral and written communications

  18. Strong analytical and problem solving skills including tolerance for ambiguity

  19. Strong computer skills including Windows, Exchange/Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Project
